What to Expect.
Understanding the Procedure.
Your Vivace Ultra appointment here at Curated Medical, located in Scottsdale, AZ, will take 60-90 minutes, depending on the areas treated. After cleansing your skin, numbing cream is applied for comfort. Pronox laughing gas may also be used if preferred although the settings on the device can be adjusted for comfort. The handpiece uses 36 to 60 fine needles, and radiofrequency energy is delivered through the needles when they are in the skin. After your treatment, you will notice mild redness, which typically resolves within the first 24 hours. It is possible to have small needle marks and dry skin for around a week. After an initial series of 3 treatments, 1-2 treatments per year are recommended for maintenance.
