QWO Cellulite Treatment Scottsdale AZ

At Curated Medical, we’re always looking for the latest aesthetic treatments to offer our patients. That’s why we’re so excited to announce that a non-surgical injectable for cellulite is nowhere—Qwo® (collagenase clostridium histolyticum-aaes)! While it is not fully understood how QWO works in cellulite, the enzymes in QWO—called collagenases—are believed to target a structural cause under your skin. It’s thought that QWO works in 3 ways: releasing fibrous bands, redistributing fat cells, and stimulating the growth of new collagen.
Qwo is an easy injectable treatment, just like Botox or filler. A very small needle is used to inject the solution into each cellulite dimple. Three treatments are needed 3 weeks apart and the results are permanent! Qwo can be used to treat true cellulite dimples but not skin laxity. Sometimes skin laxity is also the cause of uneven skin texture in the legs and buttocks; in this case, Sculptra or Radiesse can be used to smooth out the skin and build more collagen in the area.
